Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my site. I hope you find it useful. I have been using the web for several years to spice up my lesson plans. I hope you can find some useful ideas on my website, too.
To tell you a little about myself professionally, I am graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I am currently teaching in a daycare situation in which special needs students come for 2 1/2 hours a day, everyday. I teach the children preparing for kindergarten. I have two separate groups each day. The group I teach in the morning is considered to be inclusive--I teach the day care children and the special needs children together. In the afternoon, I co-teach a theraputic pre-school in which it is only special needs children. I find the work very challenging and rewarding at the same time.
Personally, I am married and have two small children at home so I am extremely busy. Luckily, my children attend the daycare where I work so I get to see them throughout the day which gives me the extra boost I need some days.
